Contracts Administrator / Project Coordinator

Having joined Nexus as a Contracts Administrator / Project Coordinator in 2018, Stephanie is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with the preparation and administration of subcontract agreements, project proposals, RFP’s, cost reports, cash flows and schedules; Issuance, tracking and overall management of contracts, change orders, letters of intent, preparation of substantial completion certificates, and completion of project closeout package. She acts as liaison between the subcontractors and the company’s accounting department, and interfaces with insurance administrator.


While completing her bachelor's degree at the University of California, Irvine, majoring in International Studies emphasizing in Global Economy and International Business, Stephanie joined Servco Builders in 2013. Stephanie quickly gained knowledge of commercial tenant improvement construction as a Contracts Administrator, working closely with Accounting and Project Management. She was responsible for review and issuance all AIA contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, closeout packages, Cal-Green, insurance and permitting packages.


During her college education, Stephanie held an international internship with the State Department of Morelos in Mexico. She worked alongside the Deputy Director of Special Groups/Attention to Migrants office, to support, protect, advise and promote programs that contribute to  the development of different special groups and their families, such as migrants, indigenous people, people with disabilities, and the elderly.
